Partnering with Local Schools

We run a partner programme with local schools in East Belfast and Carryduff.  We take 12 kids from each of our partner schools and over a 6-week period, teach them the basics of paddlesports - and have some fun on the way.

Our partner schools are currently:

  • Strathern
  • Campbell College
  • Strandtown Primary
  • Cairnshill Primary

If your child is a member of these schools, you can book a place here - subject to availability.

Adults

During the summer months, we run beginner sessions for adults.  These are primarily taster sessions and can be booked on our website.  The links are published in the summer season.

Youth Groups

We run structured paddlesports sessions for Scouts, Guides, Boys Brigade and Girls Brigade and sports clubs. These are typically run over a 4-week period on Friday evenings.

These sessions cover:

  • Water safety
  • Rescues
  • Kayaking
  • Canoeing
  • Stand-up Paddle-boarding

Canoe Polo

We believe passionately about team paddlesports which is why the sport of Canoe Polo is prominent within our club.  We compete at local, national and international level as Ulster Canoe Polo.  We are currently the Irish Men's Club Champions and British Under 18 Club Champions.
